I am delighted to introduce myself as the new owner of this incredible culinary establishment.

My path to Bossa Nova unfolded through an unexpected yet serendipitous conversation with Gabriel and Gabi, the original founders behind Bossa Nova.

Their faith in my abilities to carry on their legacy is an honour I deeply cherish. As I embark on this new chapter, I am committed to preserving the essence of Bossa Nova while infusing it with my culinary passion and creativity.


I have been a chef for almost 20 years. I love the simplicity of Brazilian food and the complexity of flavours of some of our traditional dishes.


However, the chef I am today is a concoction of my 18 years working as a chef in Australia. Brazilian food is my comfort food, but I have a flair for Middle Eastern and Mediterranean cuisine. And more often than not, you will see this reflected in our menu.


I also hold a Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, which means when I can make a dish healthier without compromising flavour, I do.

I am a people's pleaser by nature. Let me know if you have any Brazilian dishes you want to see on our menu and there is a good chance that I will have a goal on it.

I aim to keep Bossa Nova a good destination for delicious Brazilian food and a friendly environment.
